A number of MEC's experts do more than testify in trials.
RIGGING - For instance, one MEC Associate conducts training courses throughout the United States on wire rope and chain rigging used as slings and other lift rigging. One course is in rigging, another to provide an employer designated competent persons for the inspection of wire rope, wire rope slings synthetic rope slings, alloy chain slings and rigging hardware.
MEDICAL - Another Associate conducts training courses to train crews in emergency medical procedures. This includes a review of the medical supplies carried aboard the vessel.
AQUATIC SAFETY TRAINING -One of our Associates, a retired Coast Guard officer and cold water survival expert provides seminars, slide shows or video training to crews and other groups interested.
