We are always flattered to receive unsolicited letters congratulating us for putting out such an interesting and valuable newsletter. While this is flattering and a great boost to the ego of those who work so hard to bring you THE EXPERT, we would like to hear about those things you want to read about.
There are two goals of THE EXPERT. The first is publish timely information regarding legal trends in the maritime field. The second is to provide guidance to experts and attorneys on the use of experts. After all, THE EXPERT is published by the largest maritime expert referral company in the world.
We want you to read it, not file it in that great circular file with all of the rest of the "junk" mail. So tell us how we can improve. Please!
Incidentally, we received a letter from an attorney who wanted to know if we accepted articles or only reprinted other published articles. Seventy five percent of our material is original - but we do accept articles. So those who have a message which fits in with our goal can put pen to paper (or fingers to the keys of the word processor) and share your thoughts with our readers. While our circulation is about 10,000, we know that many others read THE EXPERT from the requests for experts we receive from attorneys who are not on the mailing list.
