BOOK REVIEW SMALL BOAT LAW (Fall 90)

Herbert L. Markow, a retired attorney in Miami, Florida, has written an interesting set of books on the developing problems of a water based society.

Originally written as a textbook for community college, it has found wide acceptance throughout the United States. Many organizations including National Fisherman, The Florida Bar Journal commented very favorably on it. The original book published in 1977 is a 435 page paperback. It was followed by three supplements published in 1978, 1980, and 1984. All four books are necessary to bring the reader current to 1983. Unfortunately, the series has not been further updated. The books can be obtained by mail order directly from Herbert Markow, P.O. Box 011451, Miami, FL 33101-1451. The set of four sells for $120.00 plus $10.50 for shipping.
